The Historic Sonoma Plaza -- the largest square of its' kind in California is a must-see while visiting the Sonoma Valley.  Sonoma's City Hall is a stand out in the middle of the squares eight-acre park.  Surrounding the plaza is a piece of California's history this includes the Mission San Francisco de Solano, the California Missions, the Mexican Barracks and home of General Vallejo, and the Depot Museum.  The plaza is known for its boutiques, restaurants, book stores, wine shops and art galleries.  Sonoma is know as the last of the Missions in California and the birthplace of the Bear Flag.



Just a short drive to Glen Ellen, you will find Jack London State Park . A historical tour of the site of the famed author's Wolf House (which burned down before he and his wife were able to move in) is available at a minimal fee.
